Any Suggestions/Ideas For Getting A Tattoo In Remembrance Of A Loved One Who Has Passed (preferably a parent)?

I know what i wanna get but i wanna get other ideas that can make it a little bit more memorable something that would go along with a portrait tattoo, i want to get it in between my shoulder and my elbow but not the whole thing. Everything will be considered
