Confessing your love before graduating?

would you say it's one of the hardest thing to go through? im nearing that day and well...i just dont want to feel alone in that i have to confess my love to a best friend whom i've met and known for years. it wouldn't be so hard if she was going to go to a school near me but...chances are slim. i think it's just so hard and difficult because it feels like im an old man whispering the last words of my life before death grabs hold of me and i'll be gone forever; essentially departing a beautiful chapter of my life that had been amazing. it's just so difficult...especially when i think of her, where she'll go and the new close friends she'll meet..if she'll remember me or will i'll just be a fading memory worth a mere moment of remembrance only to be cast away by her new found life. i dont want that to happen...i love her so much
