The earlier believers met in a way that truly touches me. Seems as if it has been lost amongst us today?

I heard a sermon on this only last Sunday and what remains with me is the feeling of total commitment of these people. This is something which it is hard to find in today's Church. These were people who were prepared to give it all they had (literally) and they served the Lord in serving one another. What's more, they were prepared to die for their faith, as so many of our brothers and sisters in various parts of the world where believers are under persecution are having to do today. I imagine that if we were able to drop in on the worship of those persecuted Christians, we would see something of that simplicity of heart.
