What's the name of this movie?

There was this movie I saw a few scenes of when I was little and I want to know the name of it. All I remember is a part where this little girl goes to her mom's room in the middle of the night and then when she wakes her mom up her mom goes into labor and then it cuts to a hospital where the mom is in a wheelchair and experiencing contractions. The other part I remember is something along the lines of a girl? with really short hair and this white frock type garment preaching to a cult? and then someone in the crowd hands her a piece of paper with something written on it and it upsets her. Later in the movie she's in the hospital? and a snake comes and bites her and ends up killing her. If someone could tell me the name of this movie I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
