Advice on a tattoo I want to get?

You know what...? I think a picture is worth a Lifetime of words in a situation like yours and sorry to hear about your Dad. Why wouldn't you go to a reputable tattoo shop and ask someone experienced how that would go for you? I'm sure that you will get some positive feedback and perhaps distill an image from your thoughts and remembrance of your Dad that would be uniquely yours.
