Who do we turn too when nothing is done with bullies in school?

My grandson is 14 and is constantly bullied at school. Examples being choked with his tie, a bottle being thrust down his throat and stamping on his feet and calling him a cripple. He was at the bus stop and they tried to push him in the road as the bus was coming. It is distressing for his parents and siblings and me as his grandmother. His parents have on numerous occasions been to the school to sort things out. They had someone come to the house to help all to no avail. The last time he got bullied it was a friday both my daughter and I talked with the deputy head who's mind seemed to be elsewhere said that on the monday she would talk with my daughter. My grandson was kept off school on monday as my daughter wasn't going to let him be bullied anymore. The head never called. My grandson has numerous things wrong with his physical and mental abilities, one being he cannot remember things after a short time. He is going for a major operation in september and then another one a month later. He will be in a wheelchair for at least six months. My daughter was told at one time that these children have special needs. So what has my grandson got? they seem to have a mind that knows doing what they are doing inflicts hurt on my grandson. My daughter gets praised for the way her children have manners and are helpful and are a pleasure to have in class. I do say that my grandson is a lovely boy who is helpful and will offer to help with anything. Please can anyone tell us what our next step is?

Does anyone know the probability of another planet in our galaxy having a total solar eclipse like the Earth?

We are in what must be a very unusual position, because the distances and sizes of the Sun and Moon happen to be such that their apparent size is almost exactly the same, so sometimes we will see a total eclipse, but only just, while others we will see an annular eclipse, where a ring of sunlight can be seen around the moon. I really do not know what the probability would be of this happening on any one planet, but given the number of star systems in the galaxy there are probably many.

i have a 00 mits eclipse gt auto and fuel gauge wont go down when i fill up the tank completly to full the gauge only goes half way and then car dieds wat could be the problem? i was thinking maybe the fuel pump assembly or fuel sensor cuz when i first got this car the gauge worked fine nd then i put in mix gas like twice nd it uses supreme only maybe i mest up the fuel pump or something could anyone help me out thanks

1997 Eclipse GST problems PLEASE HELP!?

The problem started when the car would have trouble starting sometimes. The car would have to be rocked a few times to get it to start. The other day, the car just wouldn't start at all. We got it to start intermittently, but nothing seems to be working. Replaced the starter, the battery, and the battery cables. When the starter is grounded, it clicks but no fuel pump. When the starter is not grounded, it doesn't click but the fuel pump starts. No idea what's wrong with it. Help!!

I would go with the Mitsubishi. Sounds like a better deal and from personal experience I haven't found much luck with Honda auto transmissions. I've had two of them fail with low mileage. The eclipse you at least know where it come from and how its been serviced.

What causes a car engine to stall on idle and lose power?

It might just need a tune up. Pull the plugs, and check their condition, they can tell you a lot aboutwhats going on inside the engine. My guess is the air fuel ratio is probably off. So much so that tje computer can't compensate, and is throwing an o2 code. Check for vacuum leaks, check your TPS, plug wires, MAP sensor, ect.

My daughter Michelle, 30, has a disease that doctors can not figure out. Three years ago, Feb. 2008, she began feeling dizzy, continuaully got UTIs, then she was cold all the time, then she began stumbling. Doctors here in Marshfield, WI, first thought MS, then ALS, and sent Michelle to Madison. Drs there ruled out both those and by now, she was also having spasms in her legs and arms. This was Jan. 2009. She had to quit work because she was so exhausted from her muscles spasms all day long. She couldn't remember the drive home. She progressed to using a cane in early 2009 and then a walker by late summer '09. She has had numerous MRIs, CAT scans, spinal taps, blood/urine tests, all coming back 'normal.' She began using a wheelchair 2010. At home she can still move with her walker; in public, her chair. Jan. 2011 we went to Mayo at Rochester, MN. Drs there also came up with no answers. Four months ago she was fitted with braces for her ankles. The back muscles of the ankles were becoming very tight, causing her feet to droop and turn inward when sitting. March 12, this year, she began having full-fledged seizures, second one 3 wks later and now on meds for that. Tests at 3 different facilities showed no signs that she had any seizures either time. I would just like to know if anyone out there can help, at least a diagnosis, and maybe an answer to some needed treatments. PLEASE help if you can. I truly look forward to hearing from you. My dog throw up this morning?

ok sunday i fed my dog in the morning around 9:00 (the time i usually feed her) i was going out later so i fed her a little early than i usually feed her(i fed her around 4 she usually eats around 6:30) monday i took her out around 8:30 she had a normal poop but she was also trying to eat grass but she wouldn't eat her food so she ate some grass and in the evening around 6:30 i gave her some food now yesterday she was eating normally and she pooped normally but today she threw up yellow bile around 10:15am and then when i took her out to go to the bathroom she had diarrhea (around 11:30) i haven't fed her any food yet because i heard you should with out food for at least 24 hours and then slowly introduce bland foods (last time she ate was 6:30pm yesterday) so i'm wondering should i try to feed her rice and boiled chicken tonight she seems hungry and she did drink some water last time she had this problem she didn't have anything wrong with her no parasites or anything and the vet sent me home with centrum for the diarrhea and throwing she was fine after a day or so im not able to take her to the vet(im in a wheelchair and i need someone to drive me) until friday or saturday so im not sure what to do could this just be a little stomach bug ?

Writing a story, need info about recovering from a broken leg and a stab wound to the gut?

Funnily enough I broke my leg 15 days ago, and have been in the hospital for a while, so I know what's happening with it. Well, I broke my Tibia, which is kind of the shin. It will take 6 weeks for it to partially recover, and in those 6 weeks you can't put ANY weight on it whatsoever. After the 6 weeks, I will be given more information, but it is suspected that I will be given a boot to have on my leg for a following month. For the first 6 weeks you're given a pot on. Depending on the way the leg is broken, really depends on the time he'd have it on and the time he would have in the hospital, for example I broke my leg diagonally and had to stay in the hospital for 4 das, and had an operation. Now, if your character was to be travelling quite a far way a wheelchair would be used, but crutches are used to stand up, for balance and for hopping over to a bed, wheelchair etc. When I was sent out of hospital I used a wheelchair to get down to the exit, and then used crutches to stand and hop over to a car. At the time I had a pot over the knee, so I couldn't bend it, I had to sit sideways in the car. The hospital didn't offer an ambulance or car home, they just let us on our own way. Disconnecting the battery is not a bad plan. Minor power drains can kill a battery over an extended period. If you are going to have a friend start it up, they need to drive it for 15-20 minutes. When you crank a car for a short period, water builds up in the system and does not go away until the engine runs at a normal temp for about 5 minutes. Most likely you could leave it the way it is and it would be fine. Have a great trip.

Well, I personally think Harry Potter is better. I have read both series, but rating Twilight I would say: Eclipse, New Moon, Twilight, Breaking Dawn. In January I was diagnosed with the swine flu and got ADEM. ADEM stands for Acute Dissemilated Encephalomyelitis. basically, it paralyzed me. The doctor says Ill be able to walk again and I've gotten alot of movement back. but Im still in a wheelchair and this has definitely put my life on hold. I get to sit around and watch my friends live their lives, go dancing, get boyfriends, and Im just on the sidelines. I can't go outside cuz the lesions affected my brain to where I can't regulate my body temp. so how do I get out of this funk and be happy?

People don't die of Spina Bifida they die of the complication of the disease. It is a birth defect and you could have gotten from any of your family members as the same for scoliosis Advancement in the treatment of Spina Bifida have been great that many people live very productive lives. I am not sure of the purpose of your questions as most of your time has been spent on who what family gave you one of these genetic diseases. If this important to you then they way to resolve that issue is to have DNA testing on your relatives.It would be more productive spending all that energy on you and managing your disease. Good Luck

Foreign Mechanic help?

today i was trying to switch head units in my 87 mercedes 260e and i noticed all the wires where covered in some kind of fluid. i think his is the reason why my eclipse head unit pretty much crapped the bed. Over the last year and half it would only play cds every now and then and since yesterday it would not play any music or radio what so ever. today i tried to see what it would do and it was flashing not letting me turn on or do anything just the screen flashing with all the buttons. I pulled the head unit to replace with a different head unit and noticed the whole top of eclipse had some kind of fluid cant tell a color. It a way it smells kinda sweet and sometimes while i drive i smell a sweet burning smell. I recently had the head gasket replaced and was told my radiator is clogged to flush or replace cause there might be a bad transmission cooler. The car only heats up when i come to lights or stop but while driving it seems to be doing fine. does anyone have any ideas what could be leaking and would it not be safe to put a new one in the time being? also one last note the last couple years i only had volume on the front speakers and could not hear any from the rear would this have something to do with the fluid? any help would be greatly appreciated

Feel so lost...need some advise please.?

It will be a year on Mother's Day that my mom passed away. She found out she had cancer three years ago but didn't catch it in time. She went through chemo but said she had enough and was just tired. She struggled so much with it. I don't blame her for her not wanting to fight anymore i didn't want to see her suffering like that. Cancer is a horrible disease to live with. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and no one should have too. My sister's were wanting pictures of her. So i was thinking maybe i could do a photo album of her in remembrance, but i don't know how my sisters would act on me doing that. It's been real hard not having her around. I know ive taking her loss very hard she was my hero. I would tell her everything that i was going through. Now she's not here for me to get advise from. I would ask my sisters but i want this to be a surprise if i do go through it. I was always the one that took pictures at every occasion. All we have now are memories and i want her to live on with those pictures and for us to always remember her. I really need advise on this...help feeling lost

2001 Eclipse GT overheating then cooling down within 20 second interval?

Last winter I noticed my car taking longer to heat up, on my way to school upon getting on the highway and upping my speed the heat would kick in. Not too mention a jump in the car's temperature rising and then going back to normal. This summer I noticed my air would get warm and I'd look down to my temperature and it would be almost to the H. If I start to watch the temperature, I'll brake and it'll rise, I'll accelerate and it'll cool down. After this happening again it did the opposite, cool down when braking... Vise Versa. Any ideas? Seems as though the car temperature will fluctuate within seconds.

Inventing an assistive device, any requests?

What would help me the most is to get some feedback from anyone who has a disability that is limited in participating in daily activities. I am in an assistive technology course and our assignment is to invent a device that would bridge that gap. My goal is to be able to take your requests and design something that would be specific to your needs. It can be any disability and any request that is sincere. Just to get an idea of what I am trying to do here's an example that has already been done. A man who was an avid bowler had a spinal cord injury which caused limited function of the muscles in his hands. He has a good amount of weakness but still could move his hands pretty good. Someone designed a ramp that could be used from sitting in his wheelchair. He positions it just in place and has his teammate hold it in place by the handles installed at the top. The ball was positioned at the top of the ramp and he would use his hands to propel it down the ramp. He would make strike after strike! It was amazing to see this and it has really motivated me to learn other areas of need. Would love to hear from you!

I am 17 years old and own a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt. Right now I am paying around $120 a month for full coverage under my mothers plan with EMC and I have a clean driving record. Either sometime this summer or graduation time next year, I am looking to sell my Eclipse and get a Dodge Neon Srt-4. I have heard that these cars are super crazy to insure. Although I haven't contacted EMC on a quote for me, I have seen General commercials on how its supposed to be cheap. I would have to switch to them and be on my own plan, so does anyone have any advice on the General and do you think it would be cheaper for me to switch to them? I am prepared to spend around $250 a month to $300. Also I am not sure but can I list my mother as the primary driver but I would be listed under her? Is that even legal? I am not too sure if thats what we are doing on our current insurance or not. thanks

So to make a long story short, I have two cars. A '94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that's taking up space, and a '99 Eclipse GS. The Eclipse isn't doing so well so I was going to sell it and use the money to fix up the Olsmobile. Other than the obvious things like fix the headlight that's broken, change the oil, air filter, etc what can I do to get this Oldsmobile running nicely? Well I was in a wheelchair up until just recently... I have RSD/CRPS along with other medical issues too and I was in a wheelchair until I spent 6 weeks in Dallas childrens hospital and they got me out of it, but walking and everything makes my pain worse so I don't go a lot of places and do a lot because of this and at the childrens hospital all they did was make things worse because they did not know enough about RSD/CRPS! So should I just go back to using a wheelchair?

Get out your test light. If voltage is getting to the injectors, they are faulty and need to be replaced. If if isn't trace back until you find the problem and fix it. Or, take it to your mechanic and let him trouble shoot and fix the problem.

My oldest aunt is the one who always took my grandma to the dr appointments. since I am currently unemployed (by choice). I have decided to go along with them to dr appointments. I was once a translator for drs & patients for after hr services. my aunt thought it would be a good idea if i started to come to all the appt. i didnt mind i like helping my grandma & anyone who needs translating. by the time of my gmas surgery they needed someone who spoke english&knew my gmas med hitory. all my aunts & uncles & my grandpa dont speak english. and my grandma is 82 & illiterate. so i said i can go in with her. i was with her for about 3 hrs translating, signing papers and explaining things to my gma. was with her in preop room.saw her go in the operating room. surgeon called me on cell to let me know how everything went when surgery was over etc. ive been following up with the drs. i am practically the only person who knows dr names and her rx info. there were some complications in my gmas surgery & in order to save her life they had to put in a IVC filter. i explained to my gma and she said its fine sweety sign...i did. everything was a success! I noticed my uncle the youngest of my gmas children started acting distant & stopped talking to me. today he came to my house being quiet and ok... then out of nowhere... he starts telling my aunt and my mom that they should have someone responsible making decisions for their mother! my mom got mad since im her daughter & was like no one is making decisions for mom she is. he said no! one of you guys should be taking care of her.... not someone who is going to change their mind and not be responsible. i said your talking about me and i dont make decisions for my grandma i explain things to her she decides 4 herself... he was like no you make decisions for her. tell her what she needs and what she has to do. it got heated up he started calling names & pointing fingers.i honestly only tell my grandma what the doctors tell her to do... which is to walk & not be laying down all the time because she needs the exercise.i tell her to eat because she doesn't really eat. i tell her to wear her back brace. etc. my gma doesnt want to she says shes too weak still ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH... she refuses to do any exercises complains about pains & doesnt want to leave the house without her wheelchair. BUT she tells my uncles & doctors she feels no pain at all that shes fine now & exercises & lies pretty much. i tell her doctors what she tells me.dr said its common her old age scared of getting sent back to hospital but they have ordered transportation for her so she doesnt get up from wheel chair when going to dr appts & i dont drive so its easier for me to go w/her & not depend on anyone giving us a ride. he volunteered (my uncle)to help her & encourage her to walk by coming over every day. something he hasnt done i told him he can but that the physical therapist was going to start coming soon bcus thats something the surgeon ordered in home physical therapy. ANYWAY he offended me said i am not responsible too young (23) and that i change my mind a lot about things &that im really a nobody to be taking care of his mother or making decisions for her. and that one of my grandmas daughters should be doing all of what i am doing instead of me. because im not reliable & he doesnt trust me. he yelled said bad words. called my aunt & mom names. i told him that i only tell the drs what she says but he wouldnt listen he said he would perfer my grandma to be at my other cousins house. & we all know that cousin doesnt want my gma at her house but he doesnt understand that. my mom told him that if he doesnt like me doing everything i do why doesnt he take care of her. he said he cant and blah blah it all lasted 2 hours of yelling,, screaming. & my gma defended him said we shouldnt upset her son he gets mad quick that we attacked him. he said he was never coming over to any of our houses anymore... it was crazy! my question is if he comes over... how should i act? what should i tell him? he has done other ****** up things to me & talked **** about me & my dad and mom before. but this! i mean come on!!! should i never speak to him again? should i be ok & not take it personal he is her son..wouldn't anyone else be kind of thankful im doing all of this? even my gmas social worker said shes surprised no one else knows anything about my grandma & that she likes dealing with me. Painting Brake Calipers and Drums?

Just the caliper paint, and clean calipers and drums (or new drums, if they're close to needing changing anyway) for the best results, a primer won't work. I'd recommend paint rather than a spray can as it's far easier to get it exactly where you want it, and only where you want it. Paint them whatever colours you like, I don't see why what you're planning would look strange!

Handicapped Parking Space?

I jusr came back from a trip and I noticed the apartment complex where I live put up a Handicapped Parking Space sign on what is used to be a regular parking space for any vehicle before. I noticed that this parking space is in a tight corner of the parking lot and it could not be accessible by somebody on a wheelchair, also the pavement is not sloped. Mechanic does not fix the car right what to do?

So recently we changed our car engine and a belt. Sorry im the wife so i dont know what belt ripped. Its on a 2000 something mitsubishi eclipse. The care made a ticking noise so it turned out it was the engine so we changed it to a rebuilt car engine. Then after he changed something happend to the belt and our car stoppped in the middle of the road so we had to go complain to him that our car turned off and he ended up confessing that his workers did not put a new belt ... so we still had our old belt. Our car almost got hit! Now the car is ticking again. it has barely been a month and i have my receipt. If it turns out to be the engine should i try to get it fixed for free by him. I just cant pay a grand all over again. He is liscensed mechanic from somewhere and there is a sign on his shop of where its liscensed and to complain at a certain number.

Car died on freeway and won't start.?

i drive a 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse gt and i was driving on the freeway at about 55 when all of a sudden my car died and rpm's dropped to 0. i got it towed home and the lights still work fine and the door locks still work but when i turn the key no sound not even a tick tick tick sound just dead silent. i still get the ding ding when the key is in and all that crap so the basic electricals work. i then charged the battery and it still wouldn't start. I moved the tilt steering wheel up and down and it started after i turned the key i was like wtf? I then shut it off and tried again but nothing. any suggestions?

So I had a random idea about one of my characters in my story who got shot in his leg in Iraq. OK, so I basically know nothing about guns or being in war or anything like that. But if a soldier got shot in his leg, could it be bad enough to the point where he would have to be relieved and go home. Why am I having problems shifting into 3rd gear?

I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt (5-spd). Casual driving it is great, but when really pushing it 1st and 2nd gear go by like a dream but when I go to quick shift into 3rd its like hitting a brick wall and wont go into gear and it stays in neutral so I have to granny shift it into 3rd. Any reasons why? Is this common with 3gs? I think it might be that it seems like I shift straight up when I go from 2nd to 3rd although Ive never put it back into 1st gear, I think it might be that I don't shift going into a small angle? but I'm not sure. Also we have a swimming pool in our backyard and maybe that's why it was cooler than expected. Then I went to the bathroom and it was cold in the BR. When I was done, my back (left shoulder blade) started feeling pulled with a little pain until now. By the way I have Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, 17 1/2 years old male, use a power wheelchair to maneuver around with, cannot stand/walk/jog/run/crawl, limited movement in arms. I've had three surgeries and one procedure done, (2 heel cord surgeries/1 spinal fusion rod implanted/1endoscopy. Yesterday I also heard a cracking sound, but did not feel anything. Do you think the cracking sound was from the rod? Or am I being paranoid? Lol.

well the PSP's i would sell them for 125-150$ piece with the case and chargers included than sell the games for the psp for 10-15$ a piece. than the xbox 360 depending on the model of the xbox (arcade pro slim etc.) i would sell from 100-200$ range like i said depending on model. the adapter for the xbox about 30-35$ and the games i would sell from 10-30$ depending on how new the game is and how old the game is and condition. hope this helps (i couldnt tell u a price for everything)

2001 Eclipse GT overheating then cooling down within 20 second interval?

Last winter I noticed my car taking longer to heat up, on my way to school upon getting on the highway and upping my speed the heat would kick in. Not too mention a jump in the car's temperature rising and then going back to normal. This summer I noticed my air would get warm and I'd look down to my temperature and it would be almost to the H. If I start to watch the temperature, I'll brake and it'll rise, I'll accelerate and it'll cool down. After this happening again it did the opposite, cool down when braking... Vise Versa. Any ideas? Seems as though the car temperature will fluctuate within seconds.

Well I was in a wheelchair up until just recently... I have RSD/CRPS along with other medical issues too and I was in a wheelchair until I spent 6 weeks in Dallas childrens hospital and they got me out of it, but walking and everything makes my pain worse so I don't go a lot of places and do a lot because of this and at the childrens hospital all they did was make things worse because they did not know enough about RSD/CRPS! So should I just go back to using a wheelchair?

My 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sypder's CD player is broken. Do I need to replace the whole thing? How much?

It will play the CD but it sounds really fuzzy and I have tried multiple CDs and they all do the same thing. The radio and everything else is completely working. Can I just get the CD player part fixed or do I need to replace the whole thing? How much will it cost with installation?

TIPS shunt and liver toxins?

I had the TIPS procedure done 11 years ago due to heavy drinking that caused ascities. I was having my abdomen drained every few days. I have maintained sobriety (yeah for me!) and my question is about my shunt. With the shunt in place, is my liver filtering toxins? And, I can't locate any literature on shunts being removed. Are they ever removed? I understand most people that have the TIPS procedure done are on their way to a transplant. I was on the transplant list but with awesome medical care (beginning with my alcoholic coma, dialysis, wheelchair, walker, etc), and an awesome support system, I got better and continue to not drink. I had sonograms done on the shunt the first couple of years and all was well. I have my liver and kidney numbers checked every couple of years and everything looks reasonable. Any info you can provide on liver function after the TIPS procedure and removal of the shunt would be great!

My car exhaust pipe clogged?

So after i got my transmission fixed i didn't notice that my car (2001 Mitsubishi eclipse gt) sounded and felt less powerful in acceleration then previously. I noticed it when i was driving home from my first day of work accelerating to 60 on the freeway, and it was really really slow. When i got near my house i parked and did a 0-60 test and i swore I heard my exhaust snort out something like a booger, and now all of a sudden it has this loud powerful and acceleration noise to it, and it accelerates a lot faster. I was wondering if this is bad or now it's nothing to worry about.

Saw a ghost in the woods?

Today me and 2 of my friends were in a wooded area in-between a small medical clinic and a bike trail which is about 15 feet lower. and after being there for around a half hour we all looked over and saw a dark man-like figure appear about 30 feet away from us. But the thing is he wouldve had to climb up the 15' hill from the bike trail and we would've heard him. But he walked across the trail into the darkness and we all jumped up to go see what he was doing and as we walked by were he was we stopped and I watched a small fire just appear from nothing and we immediately left the other direction. But the after we came down onto the bike trail we saw a man in a wheelchair hold onto a kids bike as he went down the trail. What would a guy in a wheelchair be doing with a bike. We followed as he stopped were we had to go to exit the trail and a small child none us noticed before ran from infront of the wheelchair man into the exit of the woods.. As we went past the boy he was coming out the exit we were entering on a different bike.. Everything that happened was weird and I don't know how to explain it.. It sounds weird but if you were there you would understand how crazy and unbelievable it all just happened.. Tell me what you think
